1.DDNS Set Up
Dyndns.com
Create Account.

User Name : Can not be more then 8 letters. All lower case
Pass Word: Can not be more then 8 letters. All lower case
Dyndns.com will send you an E-mail
You'll need to conform it then go back to www.dyndns.com
Log in to your account.
Go to the main Page on the dyndns.com by clicking Globe on top left.

   Go to DNS Services>>Dynamic DNS>>Create Host
Host name: Can not be more then 8 letters. All lower case
Next to host name there is a box. It must be Dyndns.org
IP address: Do not change this.
Push Add host.

   On the DVR system
Go to DDNS set up page Put in Host/User name What ever you put in
as User name.
password same as what you put in Cloverdvr.com
DDNS Use : DYNDNS.ORG
When this is done use the clover soft ware
IP/URL: Hostname.dyndns.org what ever host name you put in.

2.DDNS Set Up (Cloverdvr)
Cloverdvr.com
Insert new user : Can't be more then 8 letters. All lower case
Password: Can't be more then 8 letters. All lower case
On the DVR system
Go to DDNS set up page Put in Host/User name What ever u put in
as User name.
password same as what you put in Cloverdvr.com
DDNS Use : Cloverddns or Cloverdvr.com
When this is done use the clover soft ware
IP/URL: Hostname.cloverdvr.com what ever host/User name you put in.

3.Installing Software
In order to Intall C1714 or CDR4170 Soft ware in a Win2000
most likely you will get Error Message
do not push "OK"
go to C: drive >> C:\Program Files
you should see a file name CLDVR rename this folder to CLDVR1 then push OK on the Error Message.
go back to the CLDVR1 folder.
inside that folder there is file name a CLDVR
make a short cut
and paste it to desk top.
then you're done

4.Camera to TV or VCR
When Camera uses RCA Connection you can connect direct to the TV or VCR; Computer.
When Connecting RCA to TV
1. Make sure the Power is on.
2. Check TV Channel (should be on Video input A/V1 or Line1 Video1 so on...) using TV/VCR button or Line input. (Must be in VCR input or TV Input Jack)
When Connecting to a VCR
Same as TV.
Can not use RCA (digital) to Coaxial (analog) Converter.

5.RCA to BNC
Most DVR Systems uses BNC (male) Connection.
From RCA (Camera) you can convert it to BNC you need a RCA to BNC Converter.
You can get them at Radio Shack and its called RCA to BNC Female Converter.
